New revolutionary concept
At Atelier HOTEL MOTEL, we support Slow Fashion, making shoes in small batches based on customer requests. This means our shoe styles won't always be available online. We'll periodically release small collections for advance orders. Production will begin once we have 25 orders.
Why 25 pairs at a time? Small batches offer so many advantages :
Avoid losses. Avoid unnecessary stocks. Avoid overproduction and having to sell at a loss.
Enable greater efficiency and better performance. Allow better follow-up with our customers during the manufacturing process. Allow us to offer a better price when we are not producing individually.

How did I come up with the number 25?
I have found that this is the magic number for our production capacity. My small team and I can work without exhausting ourselves and we can guarantee a delivery time of 6 weeks.
We are a small team of 4 hands, a small 1000 square foot workshop, a few machines and a lot of love for what we do. Each pair we make will now be numbered. We are in contact with each and every one of our clients throughout the process to ensure their size and to be sure to maximize their comfort and experience. If ever the size is not the right one, we will start the pair again.
1.5 month is a long time!
We’ve become used to next-day delivery, especially in the Amazon era. For us, it's important to slow down and to include our customers in the manufacturing process, to be transparent and to demystify production. As soon as we confirm the orders in the small batch, we communicate regularly with our customers with news and photos of the process. The wait becomes much more exciting!
